Deltec GmbH was founded about 30 years ago. Since then it has been developing and selling products for marine aquariums. All products are subject to very high quality standards. Deltec is one of the pioneers of marine aquariology and has shaped and developed the industry with many inventions. Deltec was the first to produce needle impeller skimmers. Skimmers "Made in Germany", reactors, pumps, filters and other accessories are now distributed worldwide. The ideas and needs of partners, resellers and private customers are taken on board and flow into the development of many new products. Public aquariums also rely on Deltec products. In 2016, Germany's largest reef aquarium was built in Karlsruhe, 240,000l. where Deltec skimmers are in use.
